1. Who we are & what we collect

This policy describes how John's Car Cleanse LLC, a California limited liability company ("JCC"), handles your information. We collect: account details (name, email, password), service addresses and access notes you provide, vehicle information (make, model, year, color, license plate, photos you upload), fleet roster details and notes (for fleet clients), booking history and preferences, photos and captions you post to the community gallery, and limited payment details (card brand and last four digits only — full payment information is handled by our payment processor and never stored by JCC).

2. How we use it

To create and manage your account, schedule and perform detailing services at your address, process payments, send appointment reminders and service-related notifications you have enabled, apply promotions, operate the community gallery, and improve the app. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Who we share it with

Service providers that help us operate: our payment and commerce platform (Shopify) to process payments and orders, and Google (only if you choose to connect Google Calendar) to sync your appointments. We share what is necessary for those functions and no more. We may disclose information if required by law.

4. Retention & deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in Account → Delete account, which permanently deletes your account, vehicles, fleet roster, saved preferences, gallery posts, and upcoming bookings. Records of completed transactions may be retained where required for tax, accounting, or legal purposes. You can also request deletion by emailing support@johnscarcleanse.com or via johnscarcleanse.com.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password for your account.

6. Children

The app is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Contact us to remove any such information.

7. Your California rights

California residents may request access to, or deletion of, the personal information we hold about them by emailing support@johnscarcleanse.com. We will verify and respond to requests as required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
